Karz Mukt Bharat (Debt Free India) is a social awareness campaign and public advocacy movement working to support individuals and families struggling with heavy debt.
The campaign focuses on creating awareness, providing free guidance and training, opposing illegal recovery practices and advocating for meaningful relief for people who are unable to repay their loans due to difficult economic circumstances.

Key Goals of the Campaign
Loan Waiver Advocacy
We advocate for policy measures that may provide meaningful debt relief to individuals and small businesses facing genuine financial hardship, including consideration of partial or complete write-offs where appropriate.
Repayment Support
We advocate for reasonable repayment periods and adequate time for people facing financial hardship to recover their income and independently clear their outstanding dues.
Protection From Harassment
We oppose illegal, abusive and coercive recovery practices and promote awareness about lawful borrower rights and responsible lending practices.
Our Approach
